本課程的主要目的為培養碩士班學生研究及論文寫作的能力，而研究方法的基本概念與研究報告(論文)的撰寫技巧為授課重點。課程除了針對這些議題作有系統的闡釋之外，並使學生有機會在課堂上實際練習英文期刊的撰寫，以互動式的討論學習來提升學生中文與英文論文的寫作能力。

The objective of this course is to establish the ability of research and paper writing for graduate students. Both the basic principle of research methodology and the writing skill of scientific report/thesis will be focused. Students are also expected to practice their English writing in the class according to principles/skill introduced.
